Lord of the Sweet Deep — Wayfinder of the Hidden Path
In the elder days, when wells were yet myth and the deep still kept its counsel, the gods divided the world between them. Anu took the sky. Enlil seized the wind and the storm. And to Enki — wisest of the brothers — fell the Abzû: the great freshwater ocean coiled beneath the earth, where every river is born and every secret is kept.
There he made his throne. Not upon a mountain of thunder, nor a cloud of decree, but in the cool dark beneath the world — Where the rock holds its quiet pulse, and iron speaks to iron through the dark.
